As far as the water goes, we are good to go for tomorrow. Thanks for your patience while we got the problem fixed. If Mohawk cancels or has a delay due to the weather, we will do the same. There has been no word on that yet, that decision is typically made by 5:00 a.m. Hopefully, we'll see all of your children tomorrow. Sleep tight.

Good evening, Rowe families. We are still working on getting water going at the school tonight. If they can fix it this evening, we'll have school tomorrow. If the work extends into tomorrow, we won't. I should know better within the hour. I'm sorry for the lack of clarity. It is also forecast to snow through the night and into tomorrow afternoon, so that may have an impact as well. If the decision is made tonight before 8:30, I'll send a call out, as well as an email and a Facebook post. If the decision is made after 8:30, I will share the information by email and Facebook tonight and send a call first thing in the morning.

My apologies, Rowe families. I sent an email yesterday afternoon, and posted a message on Facebook, that we wouldn't have school today. What I neglected to do was send another call out as well. I know we had some families that did not get the message that school was canceled today, and I'm sorry for the confusion and for the hassle it must have added to your morning. Good morning, Rowe folx. We have no water pressure at the school this morning. We're working on it to resolve the issue, but we can't have school if we don't have water, so we're starting with a two-hour delay. I'll be back in touch by 7:30 if we can't get this fixed, and we'll have to cancel for the day. I apologize for the late and indefinite message and will keep you informed as soon as we know more.

We've been working to get all bus students to school a little earlier, so everyone can get breakfast and get to the classroom on time. The new schedule starts tomorrow,. The afternoon schedule stays the same. If you drop your student off at the school in the morning, have your student to school by 8:15 if you want them to have breakfast, and 8:25 if not. Due to the way the storm in the forecast is expected to hit, Rowe School is canceled tomorrow, Tuesday, January 16. That makes for a really long weekend! Be safe, post snow-day pictures on the Facebook page, and we'll see you on Wednesday.

Good evening, Rowe families. Due to the uncertain forecast, we will have a two-hour delay tomorrow, Wednesday, January 10. School will start at 10:30, breakfast will not be served. Students can be dropped off at the school after 9:45. There will be Arts and Crafts after school. Please be safe, and we'll see you in the morning.

Hello, Rowe families. Snow is forecast to start around 1:00 today. Mohawk (and other schools) have canceled any after-school activities (we have none today, Arts and Crafts is tomorrow, and Baking is on Friday). Mohawk is releasing students at the regular time, we will be doing the same. The overnight weather will be interesting, hopefully we'll have a full day tomorrow. Also, we plan to have a great day on the mountain (and at the school) on Thursday. If we have a delay on either day, we'll get the word out as soon as we know anything.

Good morning, Rowe families. The school was broken into sometime over the holiday break. It was discovered this morning, and we’ve been working with the Rowe Police and State Police to make sure the building is secure. We have been assured it is safe to have school today. This appears to be part of a pattern of school break-ins in the southern Vermont and western Mass. area in which schools are entered when they are empty during the nights or weekends. There will be a Police presence at the school this morning as it is part of an ongoing investigation. Please call us if you have any questions.

Good Morning, Rowe families. Due to the weather, Rowe School is canceled today, Wednesday, November 22. Please stay safe, enjoy the holiday and the long weekend, and we'll see you all Monday. The Rowe PTP is selling pies at Moonlight Magic in Shelburne Falls on Friday, join them if you can.

A few reminders: 1. NBSU Family Night in Clarksburg is tomorrow, hope you can make it - details attached. 2. Our pre-Thanksgiving Community Lunch (turkey and all the fixings, plus vegetarian options) is also tomorrow at noon, please call or email the school by today if you plan to attend. Our regular monthly Community Lunch (meatloaf!) is still happening the last Wednesday of the month, 11/29. 3. Good morning, Rowe folks! The main roads are in pretty good shape (thanks, Highway Department!), but please be safe on the way to and from school!

Good afternoon, Rowe families. We were notified at 2:30 today that Mohawk was put on alert following an incident over the border in southern, VT. Mohawk officials were notified of the incident around 1 p.m. and were informed that the incident had no relevance or connection to their districts. After consulting with the local police they are following normal dismissal and after-school activity schedules. I spoke with the Rowe and State Police, and was assured that there was "no threat to the surrounding area". Our dismissal and after-school activity will proceed as usual. Good afternoon, Rowe families. This message is in two parts. The first part is for everyone, and the second is just for families of students in fifth and sixth grade. First, next Wednesday, May 10, is the return of the Spaghetti Supper, the big fund-raiser for the 5/6 class trip. It starts at 5:30 and ends at 7:00, and you can eat in or take out. Please come, bring everyone you can, the food is delicious, and it helps the 5/6 class in a big way. Hope you can make it. Second, just a reminder there is a meeting tomorrow, May 5, at 2:30 for the families and students that are going on the 5/6 trip to Kroka Expeditions in June. A Google Meet link went out in an email yesterday, and people are welcome to either join online or come to the school if that’s easier. Call the school if you have any questions.

Hello, Rowe families. Based on the responses to the baseball survey, we may have enough players for two, possibly three, teams. We need sign-up forms for the students who want to play to take to a coaches' meeting on Saturday to determine what the make-up of the teams will be. We are sending the form by email, home with your student, and will post one on Facebook. Fill out one form for each student who wants to play (don't send any money) and send it back tomorrow (Friday) to the school. If it's easier to scan it and email it, send it to Kerri McLatchy at kmclatchy@roweschool.org. We'll know what our teams will look like next week, and we'll be back in touch. Thanks for your help.
